To support sustainable growth and high-quality service delivery, Kinark continued to invest in the infrastructure, systems, and environments that enable both staff and families to thrive in 2025/26. These investments reflect a long-term commitment to strengthening the organization’s foundation while enhancing the overall experience of care. By modernizing internal systems and refining operational supports, Kinark is better positioned to meet demand and deliver services more effectively.

A key focus this year was improving the systems that support day-to-day operations. The migration from Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Pro Workforce Management marked a significant advancement in workforce management. This new platform streamlines scheduling and time tracking, reduces administrative burden, and improves accuracy, allowing staff to spend more time focused on client care. It also strengthens scalability, ensuring that workforce operations can evolve.

In 2025/26, Kinark made important progress in strengthening internal communication and access to information through the implementation of a new intranet platform. This investment has made it easier for staff to access resources, stay informed, and connect across programs and locations. Targeted improvements to facilities and program environments have also supported a more responsive and effective care experience. These enhancements ensure that physical spaces continue to align with program needs, contributing to safe, supportive, and engaging environments for children, youth, and families, as well as staff.

Collectively, these investments demonstrate Kinark’s commitment to building a strong and sustainable future.
